Situated on a beautiful hilltop location on the outskirts of Brighton, Varndean's campus is unique in terms of its spacious, open and green surroundings, offering magnificent views of Brighton and the sea. This provides for a stimulating learning environment and students have a rich, broad and enjoyable experience throughout their time at the College, where they flourish and are enthusiastic about their time spent there.
Varndean College offers courses for 16-19 year old students, including over 30 traditional A Levels, a wide range of Vocational Courses and Foundation Level courses, as well as the prestigious and internationally recognised International Baccalaureate Diploma. Varndean College is the only state-funded college in Sussex to offer the IB qualification. At Varndean, students become academically accomplished and flourish as part of a welcoming, inpsirational and close-knit family. Transport information
Getting to Varndean College is easy. If you live in Brighton or Hove, the College is served by the 5B bus service which stops directly outside the main entrance. For those students who travel from further afield, the journey is easily manageable due to the wide range of connecting bus services or rail services available. The closest train station is Preston Park which is an approximate 15-20 min walk away.
