St. John’s College is a non-maintained further education college for young people with autism and/or learning disabilities and other complex needs, aged 19-25 years, in Kemptown, Brighton.
We provide education, care and therapy to neuro-diverse young people who may have failed to thrive and need our specialist help.
We provide our young people with the bespoke support they need to acquire the knowledge and skills that enable them to achieve significant life-enhancing outcomes.
We provide a stimulating learning environment that promotes the development of personal interests and abilities and prepares our young people for greater independence and autonomy over their future lives. Using a range of well-equipped on-site facilities and the vibrant local community, learning is made fun, relevant and progressive.
Our young adults are encouraged to follow their passions and/or to try new learning activities so that aspirations for the future are sculptured and realized. A specialist multidisciplinary team of staff, who have a range of expertise and experience, support learners throughout their time with us with both learning and wellbeing, working hard to meet individual needs and guiding learners to positive future lives.
