We believe that education is about social and emotional development that leads to a high level of academic success. We work with students to inspire their passion for learning, and provide them with the springboard needed to achieve their goals.

Employers and Universities tell us that they want students with a full set of qualifications in addition to a set of well-developed skills in teamwork, resilience, good time-keeping, leadership and emotional intelligence; all these are at the heart of our Sixth Form offer at Gildredge House.

We offer a range of A Level courses as well as BTECs that will prepare students for a wide variety of destinations, from Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group Universities, to apprenticeships and local employment; we value all types of student at Gildredge House Sixth Form.

We aim to provide an outstanding educational experience. Our Sixth Form won an SSAT Educational Outcomes award in 2020 for being in the top 10% of non-selective schools nationally for student attainment at key stage 5 in academic subjects.

Transport information

The Sixth Form in located close to key transport links and there is a car park onsite.

How to apply

Both students currently following GCSE courses at Gildredge House and students studying GCSEs at other schools are welcome to apply to study within our Sixth Form. A new application platform has been developed in collaboration with East Sussex County Council.
