The Amazing Futures Careers service can help young people in Brighton and Hove or East Sussex (aged 14-25) with additional needs with:
- Sessions on work-related skills: CV writing, application help, interview help/prep
- Looking at future options for work and study: making an action plan to take steps towards future goals
- Finding part-time/temporary work (e.g., whilst studying or if people don’t have a clear employment goal and want to try out different sectors)
- Discussions around the lived experience of someone with additional needs who is working and what this looks like: e.g., support at work, education about legal rights e.g., Equality Act
There is also a peer support service and opportunities to train as a peer mentor within the wider Amazing Futures service.
